About Me
As a Consultant Psychiatrist, I support people in coping with psychological distress and mental health conditions.
My path into psychiatry began with my medical studies at Semmelweis University in Budapest. During my studies, I came to Vienna, where I completed clinical placements at several university hospitals affiliated with the Medical University of Vienna.
A particularly formative experience was my internship at the Department of Social Psychiatry within the Department of Psychiatry and Psychotherapy. There, I encountered a humanistic approach to treatment that considers the individual as a whole, within the context of their psychological, social and personal circumstances. This experience strengthened my decision to pursue specialist training in psychiatry at the Department of Social Psychiatry.

Over the following seven years, I worked in various departments of the clinic and gained extensive clinical experience across different areas of psychiatry. In addition, I was a member of the research group for the early detection of psychosis and participated in both scientific projects and clinical work focusing on the prevention, early identification and treatment of psychotic disorders.
I subsequently worked for several years at ESRA, a psychosocial treatment and counselling centre in Vienna. Working within this interdisciplinary environment enriched my clinical experience and deepened my understanding of the importance of biographical, cultural and social factors in mental health.
The psychoanalytic perspective has shaped my therapeutic understanding and clinical work since the beginning of my psychiatric career. I therefore completed the postgraduate training programme in Psychoanalytic Therapy (PSY III) at the Vienna University Clinic for Psychoanalysis and Psychotherapy and pursued further specialisation in Transference-Focused Psychotherapy (TFP) at the Columbia University Center for Psychoanalytic Training and Research in New York.
In addition, I trained as a psychoanalytic group therapist. My work is also informed by other approaches, including existential psychotherapy, movement-oriented approaches and psychodrama.
Since 2021, I have been working in private practice in Vienna. I offer psychiatric treatment and psychotherapy in German, English and Hungarian.
